VASCO: Verna police on Tuesday evening arrested a man and recovered four mobiles worth Rs 2.56 lakh.
Sources in the Verna Police said that the accused S Kumar Rathod was arrested under Section 457 and 380 IPC.
“Verna police on Tuesday evening received a complaint from one Mahera Pankajbhai of Vidhyadhar, near MES College area at Sancoale, stating that some unknown person entered his flat by opening the lock of a sliding window of his bedroom and stole an iPhone 13, causing him a loss of Rs 68,850,” said a source.
Acting on the complaint, Verna police immediately swung in action and based on intelligence, arrested Rathod in quick time and also recovered four stolen mobile phones worth Rs 2.58 lakh.”
